Degree and Radian Measure 1

Hi Everyone Sarah Ortega here,
On fridays class we've learn what a Conterminal angle is. Coterminal angle is the angle that share a terminal side.
  • To calculate the positive coterminal angle you would have to add 360 degree to the given angle.
  • To calcuate the negative coterminal angle you would have to subtract 360 degree to the given angle.

For example:

Identify the positive and negative coterminal angle of 120 degree:

  • Some positIve coterminal angle:

120+ 360 = 480

  • Some negative coterminal angle:

120- 360= -240

Mr. Piatek also thought us how to convert from degree to radians and the vice versa:

Radians to degrees:

Homework: Exercise1, Questions 1,2,8-10,13,15
For question 8 just state quadrants not intervals.
